Mayonnaise

To get dissimilar chemicals from separating a third chemical is needed that has one end like one of the chemicals. The other end is like the other chemical. An example is mayonnaise, where the egg yolk holds onto oil and also the vinegar (similar to water). The receipe starts by having all items at room temperature:

* 1 egg yolk (large is standard)
* 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard (optional)
* 1/2 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice or water if you are not going to eat it.
* add 1/2 cup of vegetable oil dropwise while beating the mixture at medium speed. Eat the mayonnaise immediately or store briefly in the refrigerator (1 day).

Note: Health officials do not recommend eating raw egg products.

Soap removes grease from dirty dishes or hands by also acting like mayonnaise.
